spring and robins
robins and spring
they've had an effect on us both
(my current effort is a robin tanka - of sorts)
i still cannot capture the economy of words achieved by a truekuer (it seemed like a good term until i saw it written down :) ) such as yourself
nice one
cheers

Thank you, floots, nick, aurora, and polona. truekuer, floots? hmmmm. Well, that's the gist of it, aurora. nick and polona: the forecast calls for cold weather later this week: I guess I won't put my overcoat in storage just yet.

I want to mention that this one benefitted from helpful comments offered by my friends at aha!poetry forum.

if the robins were here they'd need to keep their overcoats buttoned !! with wind chill, temperatures in the single digits this week.

Changeable weather is part of what it's about. Unbutton your overcoat, but don't put it away.
