Polona, I agree. Thanks to you and Angelika.

By the way, there's a story to the effect that Buddha is included in the Catholic calendar of saints. As you know, the process of canonization has not always been rigorous, and reports of a holy man in the East may have translated centuries ago into a saint's legend. The name would have undergone some corruption in the process. As a Catholic, I find this a delightful possibility.

Bill, hi. Yes, got your email. Sorry about the access. I actually shut down the Blog a week or so ago. By the way, I found you in the RMP anthology. Not sure what page I am on, but have a look. Doesn't this make us neighbors some how. Cheers.

What an absolutely, beautiful and thought provoking haiku; though it may have been written in a rhetorical mood, i'd like to venture my thoughts--i think He'd say to Buddha "God Loves You" in much the same manner in which he reached out to the Samaritan.

P.S. thank you for stopping by my blog LunchBreak and leaving a comment.
much love

Although this is obviously a question to which we can't know the answer, I think it may be worth speculatin about.

Bill, just a quick note to say hello and to report that my Blog came back to life last night. Strange, as Patsy Cline might say.

And here is a cookie for ya, albeit misquoted:

blows down enough leaves
to make a fire
