Polona and Gautami, I know what you mean. This one is not exactly universal in its appeal. The pitcher is in a position of having to make a decision--what pitch to throw--when he is behind in the count, that is, at a disadvantage. And he's apparently having trouble making up his mind. I think most of us can relate to that when it's understood in these terms.
