When I was a kid, somebody coined the slogan "See America first." Maybe it's time I started. I think I can still afford Canada. Barely.

Thanks, polona and vaughn.

your haiku brought back memories, Bill

my grandparents told my about inflation...

they lost two times their money (but they survived two wars, yeah!)

as a memory we kept inflation money in a box (millions and millions... -- at that time everyone was a millionaire...)

First of all: that weak dollar must be a kigo or seasonal word, because it's varying, as different seasons? ;-)

Next year our inflation here is supposed to increase; everything is getting more and more expensive, and also the wage level is rising. We also have euro..

For me a cheaper dollar (U.S.) means cheaper books from Amazon!

Keep looking on the bright side, tikkis. It's also supposed to mena that American products will sell more and we'll have more visitors from other countries. Drop in, tikkis, while the price is right. You too, polona, Vaughn, Angelika.
