untitled

a night of fireflies
and cricket song . . .
the end of summer

une nuit de lucioles
et chant de grillon . . .
la fin de l'été

It might depict the end of summer, but there's still sunshine in this offering. :)

Tulikärpästen yö
ja sirkka laulaa ...
kesän loppu.

(6-5-4)

Also possible:

Sirkka sirittää
tulikärpästen yössä --
kesän loppu.

(5-7-4)

L1 Sirkan laulu or Sirkka laulaa. Laulu = song, sirittää = chirping, chirps.
Sounds better in Finnish, you know?
L2 = yours L1
L3 ok.

It's possible to make a little bit violance and say:

Sirkka sirittää
tulikärpästen yössä
kesän loppua.

5-7-5

I myself prefer the first one.
