There are some different levels for this darkness. Your neighborhood returned, but what did you do? Is the answer in L1? Also, it's time for a new moon just in these days, so no moon at all.

Pat, you've clearly caught what I was going for, and, Angelika, I'm glad you did, too.

Around here, tikkis, the Feast of the Epiphany, January 6, is the customary end of the Christmas season, when the Christmas lights go out. The irony of this association in relation to the meaning of the word and to the relevant New Testament story is part of what was in my mind. Thanks for your response.
