Bill, with your permission -- a message to Tikkis,

that was a haiku moment?
living with earth, sun and other celestial bodies for so many years..won't that be a bit of understatement, my dear friend? :)

Hello Devika! (Excuse me, or us, Bill!)

My message is from the northern side of this globe: vernal equinox means that from that day the days are longer, and the night shorter ones, until the summer solstice (20.th June)

I left away an exact definition of the Time, (here it is quite the same as yesterday, (about 18:40 local time) but next week the sun will set down at 20:00. Here in Turku, about 60 degrees North. So the nights are getting shorter and shorter now very rabidly here in Finland. New York is about 41 degrees North.

Problem solved?

Ps, exact time is 19:00 local time, but at 20:00 Summer Time. We'll get a Summer time next weekend, adding one hour. Sorry.

I know the world is in a mess weather wise, but it's offering some great haiku oppurtunities, seasons colliding on the page. Good ones.
