I have a hard enough time remembering this fellas name I met yesterday-but you're in my "memory", Bill. I know we have a special link.

Was it Aristotle who said that he who has many friends has none? Oh, well, anyway .. .

Thanks for the comments, Vaughn, Gina, John, Gillena, Willie, and Devika.

Yes what did we indeed do before -
He who hath many friends hath none, yes that was what Aristotle said, he could have been talking about Facebook for that matter, well it's a nice one anyway..

sorry Nill,

I read one of the "friends," as
"finds," but this is even funnier now.

If everyone here is friend of everyone's friend, - that is great!

Lack of unfriended people soon?

Thanks, Ashi.

Thanks times two, Gene.

But, tikkis, there's the old "Can't see what she [he] sees in him [her]" problem

Hmn, well, I understand what she (my wife) sees in me! She has got a very good taste! But what she sees in neighbor's young (40 years only; a kid!) man, that I do not understand.

So perhaps we have something to do to make this world more frienly, or no?

In Facebook I have many 'friends' I have never seen, but I know them as my friends anyway.

Well, tikkis, I've certainly made many friends. among whom I certainly include you, through haiku and the internet.

Pat, I've never been able to do the math on that "removed" stuff. Good to hear from you, friend.

It's all becoming so meaningless. A friend recently sat on my sofa telling me how she ought to get involved in Facebook so that she could 'poke' me. She really thought she was missing out on something by not doing that. I try to tell her it meant nothing compared to sitting on my sofa actually talking to me!

Glad it brought a chuckle, Nathan.

Jem, I've never fully adapted to the telephone. Insofar as possible, I avoid "talking" on the telephone. What I do is to call a friend to see if we can get together and talk.
