Easter

Easter
the scandal
resurrected

I wish I could be more joyous on this day, but the scandals in my beloved Church have taken their toll.

On the other hand, in some translations, Paul says the crucifixion of Jesus is "a scandal to the Jew and folly to the heathen." (1 Corinthians 1:23) And that scandal was made whole by the resurrection.

I wish you a joyous Easter.

Bill... someone once said "it's my devotion to my religion that matters to me, not the sins of created by 'false' believers."

Renewal may mean death to an ineffective process, and return to love.

Difficult. Hard. - -

The history we know,
and will remember, (we must?)
- as inquisition -
why we are allowed
to live here?

Bill i emphatise with your non ethusiasim of joy deeply; and would like to, in the face of all odds, look to the hope that the ressurection allows us; that the death of Chist Jesus; who is God the Son as a metaphor for the end of perfection is not given victory over hope in life; a life that can be renewed and ascend to God Our Father, everytime we give up that
hope we allow ourselves to be crucified again; but the price have already been paid; we have to believe even when we dont that, creation is unfolding

much love
