lovely ... universal as is most of your writing, i think ... i can so relate to this one having pulled out my cardigans for our up and coming winter to find a button missing on one or two ...

your poem has a touch of melancholy for me ... it may just be that as we grow into our own winter, they go so quickly ...

so nice to muse upon on a sunday morning >>> Gina

I translated this (with some others) in my blog:
http://juhanitikkanen.blogspot.com/2010/05/shiki-kukai-haikukaannoksia.html

Some problem in Finnish (as the text is so short one) with the word "another" = toinen, muu. In Finnish "second" = toinen. :-)

That later word usually used with some other word as "toinen sija" - 2nd place...

Perhaps repairing my first translation later.

Mutta se on eri juttu. =
But that's an another story.

Glad you picked up that touch of melancholy, Gina. Just a touch, but it's there, I think. Thanks.
