after the funeral

we talk about cremation

in our custom, cremation is done if some one dies when a parent is alive and cremation is for ones who have completed their life -- old age deaths...

on the other hand - funeral is where the ghosts are associated mostly (a hallucination of our mind?); cremation --it is believed to take a different life form after the remains are scattered in the sea -- i don't know if it's true or works that way,

In our culture, I think I can say that burial remains the norm, while cremation is the deviation--a deviation that is, however, increasingly common.

Until quite recently by the way, cremation was forbidden to Catholics, except in extraordinary circumstances, which means that (unless we were in a rebellious mood, as we often are) Pat and I would not have had this conversation.; 8:19 AM
