L

morning after . . .
I think her name
begins with L

Monika's translation of this can be found among the comments on "kiss," february 5.

As Monika has reminded me, the original of this was a response to a comment on "kiss." I've made a slight revision in line 2. Let me know if you have a preference.

Both versions are good, Bill. I can not decide which one I prefer... Perhaps the first one, after all, because it leaves more room for the reader to co-construct the situation.

As for the translation, "I think" may be translated in different ways.
Your choice !

lendemain matin...
je pense que son nom
commence par L

or

lendemain matin...
il me semble que son nom
commence par L

or

lendemain matin
d'après moi, son nom
commence par L

(I like the last one best).
