fear

the only thing
we have to fear . . .
winter fog

Shiki monthly kukai, april 2014. The assignment was to write a ku using an allusion. I added this comment: I don't think you have to be American to recognize the allusion, but perhaps you have to be of a certain age (mine, for instance).
