Thanks, Angelika, Doug, and Juliet. The child in the poem is my 6-year-old grandson. We were not in fact in a Natural History museum, but at a dinosaur-themed show at the Berkshire Museum in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. It's a good place to visit if you're in the neighborhood.
